On Call Wildlife Exclusion
At On Call Wildlife Removal, we don’t just remove unwanted visitors from your home or business. We make sure they can’t get back in. Wildlife Exclusion is the last step of our full-service process. You can learn more about our Animal Removal process here. Animal Removal is only one step of our process. It’s so important for our customers to understand that removing the animal doesn’t fix your problem. At On Call Wildlife, we take the necessary steps to ensure your home is fully protected against future visitors. We will safely trap your pest, remove the animal and look for babies as well, clean up, repair your structure and ensure all animals are excluded from your home or business. We don’t want you to have to call us back every week to redo the work we just completed for you. If you have an animal taking over your home, our Wildlife Exclusion Services are absolutely imperative to protecting it from current and future unwanted pests.
What is Animal Exclusion?
The National Wildlife Control Training Program (wildlifecontroltraining.com) defines Animal Exclusion as a “use of barriers to reduce access of wildlife to resources such as food, cover and water.” Exclusion is much broader than just pest control. The Wildlife Exclusion step of our process involves locating ALL animal entry and exit points wild animals may use to gain entry into or out of your structure. We then will create safe, non-lethal barriers that are not invasive to your structure, completely non-toxic and 100% environmentally friendly. Barriers are only implemented after full clean up and repairs are completed. We do not just band aid a problem. We install barriers that help return the structure to 100%.
Damage Caused by Nuisance Animal Infestation
Animals can create havoc on a home or business structure, especially if it goes unnoticed for a lengthy amount of time. Bats, birds, coyotes, squirrels, racoons and opossums, among other animals, can all chew holes in your siding, soffits or find existing entry points to attics, eaves, chimneys and crawlspaces. Wildlife within the structure of a home can chew entire roadmaps or highways behind the walls of your home, creating a huge mess and reduced air quality for your loved ones. Your home’s insulation becomes the perfect building material for nesting. Your insulation becomes damaged, your home’s energy usage can be affected, and animal feces becomes a real health issue. Some wild animals have been known to chew through wiring which can pose a serious fire hazard. You are now sharing your home with a wild animal that has no rules or cause for concern on the amount of monetary and structural damages it may cause.
Step 1: Clean Up and Remove Pheromones
Before barriers for Exclusion are installed, we will handle all clean up, especially what you can’t see. Animals naturally leave behind scents, musk’s, pheromones and secretions that can act as a trail for them to follow or that can attract additional wildlife. We don’t just remove the nuisance wildlife from your home or business, we fix the pheromone trail throughout the structure. We start by cleaning all hazardous animal waste found in your walls, crawl space, attic or chimney. Our technicians will then apply non-toxic cleaners to any vulnerable areas in addition to exclusion barriers. Cleaners and tools used during our wildlife exclusion service may include:
Non-toxic chemicals
Electricity
Sound
Step 2: Repair All Damage and Install Barriers
Our service technicians come in after our Wildlife Experts have removed all animals from your property. Once animals are safely removed and taken to a pre-determined location for safe animal release, our service techs can begin cleanup, repair, and the barrier exclusion steps to ensure your guest and any of their friends don’t return. We customize all of our repair and barrier wildlife exclusion services to fit the needs of our customers. We do much more than just pest control. There are several types of wildlife exclusion techniques and barriers that we use:
Gates
Netting

Why Exclusion is the Necessary Last Step of Our Process
Wildlife removal is just the first part of taking care of a wildlife infestation to your property. If your home is now home to a nesting animal or a burrowing animal, that family could return to the same site every single year unless you are able to stop the trail. Exclusion is the only way to make sure wild animals don’t return to your home or business. Let our experts ensure that your property is protected by installing full barriers to all entry points and exit points and by repairing all damages and scent trails. You can prevent repetitive repair costs by simply fixing the problem caused by your nuisance animal correctly the first time with On Call Wildlife.
